Learn The Techniques That Psychics Use To Amaze Your Friends

I get the sense that you are artistic... something to do
with art -- no, no, music. You write your own songs, don't
you? But this isn't your occupation - you get paid to do
something else, yes? You don't resent this, though. In fact
I'd say you're one of those lucky people who truly likes
your job. There's someone at the office.. mm... does the
letter M mean anything to you?
Is it amazing insight, psychic phenomenon or something else
entirely? If you've had experience with a 'psychic' who
seemed to be almost eerily on target with nearly everything
they said, you may be halfway to believing that some people
possess a magical ability to read your mind, or at least
information about you that isn't easily available to just
anyone.
The similarity is no coincidence. The fact is that the
typical 'psychic' employs a great many of the same
techniques that were used by Mr. Holmes to astonish his
peers. In some cases it is totally deliberate - an attempt
to deceive the 'mark' with proof of their amazing ability.
In others, the reader himself may not even be aware of how
he deduces the information that he just seems to 'know'.
Let's fast forward to Mr. Holmes' explanation of how he knew
where the person before him had been.
2. Let reactions guide your statements from general to
specific. If your initial statement gets a positive
reaction, for instance, follow it up with something like 'I
see your boss trusting you with more responsibility - if not
yet, then very soon' or 'there's the possibility of an
opportunity that could lead to great things for you'.
All so simple when it's explained, no? Even before you open
your mouth, your appearance is already telling an observant
'psychic' a great deal about you. A wedding band is an
obvious tell, but so is the mark left behind when you remove
it. It's even possible to tell how long it's been since you
wore it regularly by the difference in color and texture of
the skin where it was.
There are other obvious cues in your tone of voice, your
expression, your posture - nearly everything that you do or
say can help the 'psychic' make predictions and statements
based on things you tell him or her yourself - without even
realizing it.
Psychics also use words and ideas to help reshape your
perception of things around you. Your own new perception can
actually work to make the reader's words 'come true'. An
example is the best way to illustrate this 'trick'.
Suppose I tell you, as a reader, that one of your coworkers
has a romantic interest in you, but may be hiding it. The
most natural reaction to that statement is for you to run
through your coworkers in your mind, re-evaluating their
behavior around and towards you in light of a possible
'romantic interest'. Do you often catch a particular
coworker staring at you? Does your boss' receptionist make a
point of bringing back a cup of coffee for you when she
makes a trip to the coffeemaker? Once you start looking for
possible 'signs' in the behavior of your coworkers, you're
almost certain to find someone that might be your secret
admirer.
That's really about all there is to most of the psychics
that you'll run into on the phone and internet pay-per-
minute services. A heightened sense of obersvation and
perception, a few little tricks to draw out information, and
the chutzpah to pass it off as some sort of arcane secret
technique.
